The Hall - The building is ideally situated in Bexley High Street (DA5 1AA) at the heart of the Village.  The main hall is 54ft x 30ft (16.3m x 9.4m) and can seat between 100 and 120 people depending on seating style. 

 

Car parking - The hall has a private car park that can accommodate up to10 cars. Cars must not be left overnight.  Parking is also available in either of the two local public car parks (i) Thanet Road; behind the King's Head Public House; or (ii) behind the shops opposite the hall.  Both car parks are Pay & Display every day although free after 6pm.

 

Tables and chairs - These are located in a rack in the storeroom adjoining the main hall.  

 

There are 30 aluminium Formica top tables (circa 6 ft x 2 ft).   

 

There are 10 smaller tables

 

There are 60 chairs. 

 

Please ensure the chairs are stacked, no more than 10 high, when returning them to the store room. 

 

No furniture is to be left in the hall or back room, everything you use MUST be returned to the store room.

Please ensure these are wiped over before they are returned to the storeroom rack.

 

The Kitchen - The modern kitchen has an electric ceramic hob but no oven or fridge. 

 

We do not provide crockery or cutlery. 

 

There will be a supply of washing up liquid, floor cleaner and surface sprays for cleaning purposes.

 

Paper towels for hand drying, are provided but hirers need to provide their own tea towels.

 

No foodstuffs of whatever nature may be stored overnight in the hall and all food items must be removed from the hall upon leaving.

Clearing up & damage – The hall is cleaned and checked daily. 

 

It is your responsibility to clear the hall after use and return all tables and chairs to the store. 

 

You will need to provide your own black plastic bags and remove all refuse from the hall. 

 

All rubbish must be removed from the hall when you leave. 

 

Brooms, scissor sweeper, a dustpan & brush and a mop are provided to aid clean up. 

 

The Hirer shall be held responsible for the total cost of making good damage done to the premises, furniture, fittings or apparatus, or for the replacement of any articles that may be broken or damaged by the Hirer during the period or periods of occupation.

Cancellation of booking – The hirer may cancel the booking at any time but the hire charge is non refundable. We reserve the right to cancel any booking, without being required to disclose the reason for such cancellation, and shall give to the Hirer as much notice as possible and refund in full any Hiring Fee already paid in respect of such booking.
